It’s always such a good feeling to see a message in your inbox from someone who previously called in for some career advice (FREE by the way), takes your suggestions on board…and then sees a positive change to their job search.
Not a Google review for all to see, but a few words in a private message to say thank you.
The advice we give is mostly personal opinions based on decades of recruitment experience and talking to clients and candidates across all market sectors every single week.
I have tried to simply analyse the demographics of candidates that come to us for advice, and any results from that.
I have noticed that it’s either graduates at the start of their career seeking tips and help, or candidates over 40 years of age who are struggling.
Now this could be a generation of 20 / 30-year-olds that have grasped social media, and don’t need the advice of someone like me; it could also be telling about the job market and possibly ageism for the older candidates. I don’t know why.
Regardless of this and your level of experience, it’s always nice to have some kind words from someone you have helped.
Currently, we are at 27 people this year who have reached out to us, and asked us for a FREE CV review, and/or FREE LINKEDIN tips.
If you are struggling to find work, and are based in the UK, we are happy to help FOR FREE around our day job! No catch or cost involved.
