‘Why haven’t you done a post on LinkedIn to tell your network you are looking for work?’
Most say it’s either down to a fear of putting themselves out there, or I didn’t want to look desperate.
I get it. It isn’t easy to suddenly pick up on using social media to promote yourself.
Many candidates even admit to looking for work on LinkedIn at the same time.
One thing I always do is reassure people. I know it’s hard.
I’m old. I still try to post on TikTok at least twice a week about CV tips and jobs. I have to. It might help my business!
