One simple piece of advice

If you have an interview today, next week or whenever, please, please, please prepare!

This is critical.

It doesn’t matter if it’s through a recruiter, direct, for a friend or whoever.

Prepare!

I am always surprised that in 2025, some candidates (for whatever job it may be) don’t think to prepare.

Considering all the information and tools available these days at the touch of a button, it is unforgivable.

We will help this new client, I am sure, but just surprised to hear their current experience and that the recruiter they had used didn’t think/couldn’t be bothered to help/support/advise candidates attending an interview to prepare.

For those candidates who come via Jump IT Recruitment, we offer as much information on a client and interview as we possibly can. This includes parking, interview advice, profiles, format etc.

There is no excuse not to prepare.
